Simmons. Check out the footage in the video player below:

With all of the Coronavirus lockdowns issued around multiple countries, there could be no better time for Apple to release the trailer, sharing footage from the upcoming series. Although the subject matter might not be light-hearted or lifting, a drama like this could be the perfect distraction from all the worrying sadness in the world at the moment. With a casting as super as this, why would you not want to watch the 8 one-hour episodes of the show?

“Defending Jacob” unfolds around a shocking crime that rocks a small Massachusetts town, and follows assistant district attorney Andy Barber (Evans), who finds himself torn between his sworn duty to uphold justice and his unconditional love for his son, Jacob (Martell).

“Defending Jacob” is produced by Paramount Television Studios and Anonymous Content, and created, written and executive produced by Mark Bomback, who also serves as showrunner.
