It seems that Dakota Johnson and Matthias Schoenaerts are about to reunite on screen once again and this time, in a new film entitled THE SOUND OF METAL.
Reports claim that the FIFTY SHADES OF GREAY actress, Dakota Johnson will star alongside THE DANISH GIRL‘S Matthias Schoenaerts in THE SOUND OF METAL, a drama that will mark the directorial debut of Darius Marder, who is best known for his collaborations with filmmaker Derek Cianfrance including co-writing THE PLACE BEYOND THE PINES.
Production is set to get underway for the film in the autumn, which will see Johnson will play a singer in a band, and Schoenaerts plays the drummer. Everything changes when he begins to lose his hearing and has to come to grips with a future that will be filled with silence.
It’s not the first time that the two actors have shared the big screen together as they are both in the upcoming movie, A BIGGER SPLASH which hits cinemas February 12th.
