Concept Art Unveiled For Disney’s new Animated Adventure ‘MOANA’

Disney has released new information of their next animated adventure to be released in 2016. Take a look at the concept art for Moana.  

Looks beautiful, right? Moana will be an ocean based adventure which tell the story of a navigation expert teenage who sets out fulfill a quest started by her ancestors. 

Tag team Ron Clements and John Musker are taking the director chairs in this magical adventure set in South Pacific ancient world of Oceania. The teenage protagonist in question, is joined by her hero, demi-God, Maui. 

Here’s the official synopsis; 

In the ancient South Pacific world of Oceania, Moana, a born navigator, sets sail in search of a fabled island. During her incredible journey, she teams up with her hero, the legendary demi-god Maui, to traverse the open ocean on an action-packed voyage, encountering enormous sea creatures, breathtaking underworlds and ancient folklore.

It sounds mythical, magical and all-round amazing! We’re loving all these new brave, strong female Disney characters!

If the concept art is anything to go by, it looks like Moana is going to be a visual feast of oceanic splendor.
