Director Paul Feig has announced on Twitter the latest addition to his all-female GHOSTBUSTERS reboot.
Continuing with the gender-swapping theme, previous Demi-God Chris Hemsworth will be trading his hammer for a telephone as the receptionist, a role originally performed by Annie Potts in the first two GHOSTBUSTERS films.
The plot is still unknown at this time, but Hemsworth will be joining Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones as the re-imagined ghost exterminators.
Hemsworth’s next projects include IN THE HEART OF THE SEA and remake of ‘80s classic VACATION.
GHOSTBUSTERS is expected to be released July 22, 2016.
