New images have finally be released for the upcoming CHARLIE’S ANGELS movie, which welcomes a brand new cast. Take a look at the photos below.
The cast is awesome with an all-new team lead by actor and director Elizabeth Banks. In the first images we can see Kristen Stewart, Ella Balinska and Naomi Scott going undercover. The film also stars Sam Claflin who will also be starring in the upcoming movie, THE CORRUPTED and TV’s smash series, PEAKY BLINDERS.
The reboot is said to serve up a completely new take on the classic and the more recently known version of the film starring Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu, but no doubt we will still get to see all of the action that we love.
According to an interview with Entertainment Weekly, it has been revealed that the new Angels are recruits to the Townsend Agency, which has grown into a global security and intelligence service. Kristen Stewart will play Sabina Wilson a hard-partying, highly skilled wild card; Ella Balinska has taken on the role of Jane Kano, the ex-MI6 muscle of the group; and Naomi Scott is Elena Houghlin, the MIT-trained scientist who, Elizabeth told EW, serves as “the heart of the movie.”
Banks has also confirmed that Noah Centineo is starring in the film who will assist the Angels as the character, Langston. We don’t know much about the part he will play in the film yet, but maybe his character might not be too angelic himself…
There are also other great actors involved with the film as Patrick Stewart and Djimon Hounsou star in the movie. WHAT A CAST!
No trailer has been released yet, but we can’t wait to catch a glimpse at some of the footage from the movie.
Charlie’s new Angels will arrive in cinemas later this year when the movie gets released nationwide November 15th.
