Catch Me Daddy – which premiered at Cannes last year – is the debut feature of music-video director Daniel Wolfe and we finally get to see a new trailer for the film.
Sameena Jabeen Ahmed, who won best newcomer at the London Film Festival, stars as Laila, in hiding from her own family and living with her boyfriend on the Yorkshire moors. When her brother and a group of thugs hired by her father turn up in town she is forced to flee for her life.
This movie has garnered a heap of praise and has earned awards for lead, Ahmed in what is expected to be one of the most successful British dramas of 2015.
The director, Wolfe has bright the script he wrote with brother Matthew to life and has bagged an award already for the Most Promising Newcomer at the British Independent Film Awards, and both she and the team were nominated for several others, including the Golden Camera at last year’s Cannes.
CATCH ME DADDY opens in the UK on February 27th.
