For those who don’t know Casey Jones is a vigilante in TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLESÂ who eventually becomes part of the team. The character of Casey Jones is that of a vigilante who uses various items of sports equipment. He wears a hockey mask to hide his identity and carries a golf bag stuffed with cricket bats, baseball bats, hockey sticks and various other makeshift weapons.
So it seems this much loved character from the comics, TV shows and games will be in the new movie. But that isn’t all we have learned about TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES 2Â lately. We also got the identity of the man that will play him. It has been revealed that Casey Jones will be played by Stephen Amell.
The actor has shot to fame of late after his fantastic work in ARROW, a TV series based in the DC comics universe following Green Arrow. Amell’s work as the Arrow has clearly given him some experience in portraying troubled vigilantes. It also showcases his fantastic acting skill. Amell has developed quite a fan base from donning the green hood and carrying the bow so there may be some excitement around this one despite the poor critical and fan reception of its predecessor.
