THE HANGOVER star Bradley Cooper is in negotiations with Warner Brothers to bag the rights for a remake of A STAR IS BORN.Â
According to Deadline, Cooper is keen to step behind the camera and remake the famous flick, which has already had one remake.
The film, which tells the story of a movie star who helps a young aspiring actress find fame; despite battling his own demons on alcohol abuse, was first made in 1994 and starred Judy Garland and James Mason.
The flick got its first remake 1976 with Barbara Streisand and Kris Kristofferson; will Cooper be the next man to make this movie happen?
Rumour has it he’s keen on bagging mega-star Beyonce to play the lead role and with the famed singer proving her acting abilities in the musical DREAMGIRLS, it’s certainly a casting we can imagine!Â
The singer has actually already been attached to the film when Clint Eastwood was up for helming the project but nothing came to light; perhaps this second chance will pan-out perfectly? We certainly hope so!
