The BFI is currently showing a season of some of the most memorable love stories on screen.
On Sunday November 15th, 2015 at 5.50pm, the BFI Love Season gets underway and they will be showing (in a brand-new Digital presentation) the Oscar-winning film AN OFFICER AND A GENTLEMAN (it won for Best Song (UP WHERE WE BELONG) and Supporting Actor (Louis Gossett Jr)
The season also includes a brand new 4K Digital Presentation of David Lean‘s classic 1965 Oscar-winner DOCTOR ZHIVAGO starring the late Omar Sharif and Julie Christie. Other gems that are playing in the season have included GONE WITH THE WIND and CAT PEOPLE, the 1982 version which starred Malcolm McDowell and Nastassja Kinski, directed by Paul (TAXI DRIVER, AMERICAN GIGOLO) Schrader.
