Warner Bros dropped a 49-second teaser for Zack Snyder’s sequel BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE starring Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill, which you can watch above.

In the teaser video, we see Batman has been unmasked, and it turns out he was a stubbly Ben Affleck all along – no surprises there then! As we see in the trailer, his identity has now been revealed thanks to the inquisitive Man of Steel, Superman played by Henry Cavill. The man in the infamous red cape looks rather menacing in the teaser as guards kneel before him. Superman rips off the Bat’s mask, presumably to humiliate him…

The trailer doesn’t give away a whole host of revelations, but this is the first time we’ve technically seen Affleck out of costume as Bruce Wayne.

Two trailers have already been released setting up the conflict between Bruce Wayne, played by Ben Affleck, and Henry Cavill’s Kal-El. The rivalry emerges in the aftermath of the destructive Battle of Metropolis in 2013’s Man of Steel.

The film will also feature Jason Momoa’s debut appearance as Aquaman. Momoa, who is most famous for playing Khal Drogo in GAME OF THRONES, will star in his own feature film, Aquaman, in 2018. He will also appear as AQUAMAN IN THE JUSTICE LEAGUE PART ONE – which will be released in 2017.

Wonder Woman, played by Israeli actress Gal Gadot, will also make an appearance in BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE before starring in a standalone adventure rumoured to be set during the Second World War.
