Never have we wanted a week to pass by so quickly until now…
You’ve heard the theories, you’ve seen the behind-the-scenes pictures, you’ve heard the Comic Con footage, but after a long and excruciating wait, Marvel are FINALLY going to release their first trailer for Joss Whedon’s Avengers: Age of Ultron.
The cast of Avengers: Age of Ultron is huge, and it includes the likes of  Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Cobie Smulders, Don Cheadle, Paul Bettany, James Spader, and Samuel L. Jackson.
It has been assumed that the trailer would debut ahead of Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar, which premieres in the first week of November, so to hear it come a week early is a delightful treat.
Avengers: Age of Ultron is due to be release worldwide May 1, 2015 and Joss Whedon once again directs. The first movie earned over $1.5 billion worldwide and they will be hoping to build on that success.
So, mark your calendars. The clock may be ticking, but the wait is going to feel longer than ever. It’s as if Marvel’s never satisfied unless fans are holding their breaths in anticipation. Well-played, Marvel.
Here is the official announcement which was revealed during tonight’s episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
