Entertainment One UK has released the new teaser trailer for the stunning sci-fi thriller ARRIVAL, directed by Denis Villeneuve (Sicario) starring Amy Adams (Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice), Jeremy Renner (The Avengers), Forest Whitaker (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) and Michael Stuhlbarg (Men in Black 3). Directed by Denis Villeneuve (Prisoners, Sicario), the film is based on Ted Chiang’s 1998 novella Story of Your Life with a script with Eric Heisserer (The Thing (2011)). When mysterious spacecraft touch down across the globe, an elite team – lead by expert linguist Louise Banks (Amy Adams) – are brought together to investigate. As mankind teeters on the verge of global war, Banks and the team race against time for answers – and to find them, she will take a chance that could threaten her life, and quite possibly humanity.
There is not much that has been revealed from the first teaser, but it will shortly be followed by the full trailer for the movie. From what we have seen so far, the visuals look stunning and although it is not a completely original idea to have a screenplay based on the arrival of aliens on Earth, this one certainly has garnered interest with the great casting, not to mention with Villeneuve helming the movie.

ARRIVAL will have its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival on September 2 before debuting in cinemas on November 11th, 2016.
