If you are a fan of the hit movie, A QUIET PLACE as much as we are, then you will be delighted to hear that according to reports, the film will be released two months earlier than planned.

According to reports, the movie which was originally scheduled for released May 15th, 2020 has been slated for release now March 20th. We don’t mind one bit, it’s better earlier that later! Also, that means we have a shorter time to wait until we can feast our eyes on the sequel to the 2018 hit.

It was only a couple of months ago that John Krasinski, who not only starred in the first movie, but wrote the script and directed the movie too, took to Twitter to announce the horror hit on May 15th, 2020.

The film proved to be a colossal success for Paramount Pictures, which was released in cinemas in April last year scoring a super $334 million worldwide on a $17 million dollar budget. It is easy to see why a sequel would no doubt draw in the audience once again.

Without giving away spoilers for those who may not have yet watched the film (if you haven’t yet, why on Earth not?!), Krasinski will not be starring in the sequel but it will see the return of his wife in real life and in the movie, Emily Blunt (Mary Poppins Returns), Millicent Simmonds (Wonderstruck) and Noah Jupe (Suburbicon) who will all reprise their roles in the sequel.

A Quiet Place

In the original movie, the plot revolves around a family facing struggles to survive in a post-apocalyptic world inhabited by blind extraterrestrial creatures with an acute sense of hearing.
