50 Shades of Grey trailer

“Mr. Grey will see you now.” See us?! I think we get to see a lot more of him in the new 50 SHADES OF GREY trailer. Those words have become so associated with the film that it is impossible not to think of the moment when the impressionable Anastasia Steele walks in through the door and meets Christian Grey for the first time.

Back in July, the internet suffered a meltdown when the first trailer arrived online and last week saw the release of the second teaser trailer, which was more teasing than Mr Grey himself – showing us just what was in store from the new release, notching up a record breaking 100 million hits in a week on Youtube.

Now the wait is over and the new trailer is here in all it’s wonderful, exasperatingly brilliant glory:

FIFTY SHADES OF GREY is the hotly anticipated film adaptation of the bestselling book that has become a global phenomenon.  Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan are in action as Anastasia Steele and BDSM-loving business tycoon, Christian Grey.

The film is based on EL James’s best-selling erotic novel and the trilogy has been translated in 52 languages worldwide and sold more than 90 million copies in e-book and print—making it one of the biggest and fastest-selling book series ever.

This second trailer gives us a completely different glimpse into the characters. The first trailer revealed their first meeting, it showed us who they are as people and a watered down version of their blossoming romance (we are sure there was probably a lot of limitations as to what they could show!), but the new trailer shows us a whole lot more.

The latest trailer is coupled superbly once again by Beyonce‘s sultry tones of ‘Haunted‘ and no doubt many people will have the same feeling when they are watching the the trailer for the tenth time!

Joining Johnson and Dornan in the cast are Luke Grimes as Christian’s brother, Elliot; Victor Rasuk as Anastasia’s close friend, José; and Jennifer Ehle as Anastasia’s mother, Carla.

The film, directed by NOWHERE BOY’S Sam Taylor-Johnson, will be released in UK cinemas February 13th, 2015.
