Natalie Portman Steve Jobs biopic

It’s been a turbulent journey for Danny Boyle’s Steve Jobs biopic but finally some good news – leading lady Natalie Portman has been linked to the movie, could she be joining team Boyle?

After being dropped by Sony and being quickly picked up Universal, it’s been a been week for the highly anticipated Steve Jobs biopic and now Deadline reports that BLACK SWAN actress, Natalie Portman, could be joining the cast.

Portman will reportedly be taking on the role of Steve Jobs’ daughter, Lisa-Brennan Jobs. This will be a big role for Portman as it’s publicly known that Lisa will play a large part in the movie, often being referred to as “the heroine of the story”, by writer Aaron Sorkin.

After both Leonardo DiCaprio and Christian Bale were taking on and then backing out for the role of Apply Co-Founder Jobs, it is thought that SHAME star Michael Fassbender will be taking on the project as we reported here earlier in the month.

Portman’s not the only big star to be attached to the movie, as funny man Seth Rogan, who could be playing fellow Apple Founder Steve Wozniak and INTERSTELLAR star Jessica Chastain have also been linked to the movie for weeks.

With no release date yet to be confirmed, it is rumoured that the film should arrive towards the end of 2015.
