Directed by the absolute visionary genius that is Alejandro González Iñárritu, Birdman, has been surrounded by surreal trailers, interesting teaser posters and little news of it’s specific narrative. However, a brand new clip has dropped and it oozes success already.
Michael Keaton stars as Riggan Thomas, a washed up actor who was previously known as the fictional iconic super hero, Birdman. Riggan must put aside his swelling ego and dysfunctional family in order to wow on Broadway and take back his title of leading man.
Alongside Keaton is funny man, Zach Galifinakis, who plays Brandon, Riggan’s producer and best friend.

Both Galifinakis and Keaton already look like a comedic match made in heaven, as the two very different actors bounce off of each other in a genuine, natural way. Also, just from this short clip, the script sounds impressive and full of a quick wit humour, that will no doubt drive audiences in.
With a sterling supporting cast including Naomi Watts, Emma Stone and Edward Norton, I have seriously high hopes for Birdman.
