Paris International Film Festival Director today announced the second of the Festival Jury Members for the 2022 online event, which takes place between 10th – 20th February 2022:

Karolyne Sosa –  Director of Programming, DTLA Film Festival – will be ‘Documentary Feature’ Juror.

Producer / Colombian-born Karolyne Sosa has been on the Board of Directors of the DTLA Film Festival since 2009. She is also the festival’s Director of Programming.

Her leadership has established a new benchmark for the organization, showcasing Los Angeles premieres of films from leading distributors including Showtime, The Orchard, Samuel Goldwyn, Netflix, and Amazon.

Karolyne began her career working with the late Oscar winning producer John Daly. Her time with Daly taught her the industry from an insider’s point of view. By combining deal making with the creative process, Karolyne has produced feature films, documentaries and music videos.

Karolyne considers herself a student of the human condition. She brings hard work, creativity and dedication to every aspect of the festival, always keeping in mind the filmmaker’s vision, and ultimately the audience’s experience. Karolyne is currently producing a project to be shot in the South of France.

She will make her directorial debut with a documentary feature at the end of this year.

DTLA Film Festival – a leading showcase for independent cinema will hold its 13th annual edition September 7-11, 2022 at Regal LA Live Cinemas.

Submissions are now open for narrative features, documentaries, short films, TV pilots and screenplays:
