It’s not the first time that Mendoza and Momoa have worked together, as they united in 2018 for BRAVEN and Netflix’s FRONTIER series.

Speaking about the movie, Momoa said: “I’m excited to partner with Netflix once again. I’m putting a dream team together from Brad and Jeff to my best friend, Brian, who has been my partner for over 10 years. It’s a dream come true to collaborate with him and deliver his vision.”

Momoa is on double duty for this one as he is also producing the film alongside Brad Peyton and Jeff Fierson of ASAP Entertainment. Martin Kistler will serve as executive producer.

Momoa has enjoyed a lot of success since his days on GAME OF THRONES, having recently starred in AQUAMAN, THE LEGO MOVIE 2: THE SECOND PART, JUSTICE LEAGUE, ONCE UPON A TIME IN VENICE, SUGAR MOUNTAIN, and THE BAD BATCH.

Momoa can next be seen in the DUNE adaptation from director Denis Villeneuve and is currently filming the SEE TV drama series for Apple TV+.
