Film And TV Now had the pleasure of speaking with actress Rachel Nielsen about her career, including her work in the new HBO series ‘Mare Of Easttown’, which is playing on Sky Atlantic in the UK.

Nielsen got her start on FOX Tv’s ChatRoom while still in High School enrolled in an audition-only performing arts school. From there, she has studied with The Maggie Flannigan Studio, Playhouse West and Elizabeth Kemp.

Her career has spanned film and tv opening doors for her to work with Kate Winslet, David Denman, and Brian O’Halloran. As well as stage productions including musicals, having received a scholarship to perform at the renowned Kimmel Center in Philadelphia. Rachel can currently be seen in a recurring role in HBO’s MARE OF EASTTOWN which premiered on April 18th, 2021.

She also stars as the female lead in the upcoming adventure comedy film ‘Alpha Rift’ alongside actors Aaron Dalla Villa and Lance Henriksen. In addition to acting, Rachel is also a proud member of New York Women in Film and Television and a featured performer and vocalist in the recently released gaming world anthem D20: ALPHA RIFT TRIBUTE – streaming on YouTube and all music platforms.
