Lionsgate has released the brand new trailer for the upcoming action flick ANGEL HAS FALLEN starring Gerard Butler. Check out the footage in the video player below.
Gerard Butler is back in action in the latest installment in the popular franchise as Secret Service Agent Mike Banning the third film following on from Olympus Has Fallen and London Has Fallen. There’s no surprise to the storyline here as yet again there is another major threat to his boss, who is Allan Trumbull (Morgan Freeman) in this one. We find him the victim of an assassination attempt and unfortunately for Mike, he finds himself as the prime suspect despite clearly having saved Trumbull’s life.
The film trailer shows the movie will once again not be short on action, except this time it’s Banning who is in hot pursuit but by his own people. In true gritty Secret Service Agent style, he is determined to track down who is truly responsible for trying to murder the Commander in Chief and has a surprising helping hand in his quest – his dad played by Nick Nolte.
In the director’s chair for this one is Ric Roman Waugh who is calling the shots based on a script he developed alongside Robert Mark Kamen and Matt Cook.
