Elf

ELF has to be one of the most quotable Christmas movies there are:

The best way to spread Christmas cheer, is singing loud for all to hear” and “SANTA!!! I KNOW HIM!”. Wait there’s – “Smiling’s my favourite” oh and; “You sit on a throne of lies”.

Well the Christmas cheer isn’t about to stop because there is some good news for fans of festivities and merriment – NBC has decided to make a stop-motion, animated Elf Christmas special! Yay!

According to Deadline, Buddy the elf will be back next month, but this time voiced by Jim Parsons (The Big Bang Theory). Apparently, the show will last an hour and will include nine different musical numbers.

Elf: Buddy’s Musical Christmas has been based on both the movie and the Broadway show it inspired.

Despite Will Ferrell playing the perfect Buddy, Parsons is actually a great choice to voice this lovable character. His voice has that childlike glee about it that will go down great with kids.

Haven’t seen the first film? What is wrong with you! It’s great, check out the trailer!
