Did we ever think that we would see George Clooney as a bumbling actor, Scarlett Johansson in a mermaid costume, Channing Tatum dancing in a sailor outfit (well, maybe in MAGIC MIKE) and Tilda Swinton owning the screening all at the same time in the same movie? Nope, we didn’t either, but in the Coen Brothers new movie HAIL CAESAR! that is exactly what we get.
The first trailer for their new film, HAIL CAESAR! has arrived and it certainly doesn’t disappoint. The movie takes place in good old Old Hollywood, and centres around a major star (George Clooney) being kidnapped by a group called “The Future.”
After watching the trailer, in the two-and-a-half minute footage we soon see that it is very Coen-esque and jam-packed with their distinct visual style and humour.Â
Completing the all-star cast is Jonah Hill, Josh Brolin, Frances McDormand and Ralph Fiennes and this is certainly a film we are looking forward to seeing.Â
