Nicole Kidman and Colin Farrell star in The Beguiled
Universal Pictures has released a brand new trailer for the upcoming movie, THE BEGUILED, starring Nicole Kidman and Colin Farrell. Take a look at the footage in the video player above.
THE BEGUILED has been brought to the big screen by the director Sofia Coppola (Lost in Translation, The Bling Ring). The film boasts a great cast in the form of Golden Globe winner Colin Farrell (In Bruges, The Lobster), Academy Award winner Nicole Kidman (The Hours, Stoker), Emmy nominee Kirsten Dunst (Melancholia, Spider-Man) and Elle Fanning (The Neon Demon, Super 8).Â
The movie is Sofia Coppola’s screenplay adaptation of Thomas Cullinan’s novel of the same name, which will screen in competition at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival.
THE BEGUILED unfolds in a girls’ school in the state of Virginia in 1864. As the Civil War rages, The Miss Martha Farnsworth Seminary for Young Ladies has been sheltered from the outside world— until the day a wounded Union soldier is discovered nearby and taken in.
Also starring on the film is Oona Laurence (Pete’s Dragon, Bad Moms), Emma Howard (Transparent), Angourie Rice (The Nice Guys) and Addison Riecke (The Thundermans).
