Don’t mess with Julia Roberts! She looks terrifying as she tries to avenge her daughter’s murder in the first trailer for the upcoming thriller SECRET IN THEIR EYES.
Julia Roberts stars as Jess, an FBI investigator whose team is torn apart when they discover that the “unidentified female body” abandoned in a garage dumpster that they’ve been called to investigate belongs to Jess’ teenage daughter. Her friend and co-worker, played by Chiwetel Ejiofor, continues digging every day for 13 years until he uncovers a new lead. Nicole Kidman also stars as their district attorney supervisor.
Written and directed by Billy Ray (the screenwriter of CAPTAIN PHILLIPS), the movie from STX Entertainment is based on Juan José Campanella’s Oscar-winning best foreign language film of the same name.
We still have a while to wait until SECRET IN THEIR EYES is released as it’s not due to hit cinemas until next spring.
