Daniel Radcliffe discovers he’s been cast into darkness in a new clip from the fantasy thriller HORNS.
Director Alexandre Aja is no stranger to making spine chilling films, having made THE HILLS HAVE EYES reboot and PIRANHA 3D and his latest fiendish film is based on the book by Stephen King’s son Joe Hill and released in cinemas October 29th.
The off-beat thriller sees Radcliffe play radio DJ Ig Perrish, who is wrongly accused of his girlfriend’s Merrin Williams’ (Juno Temple) violent rape and killing and as a result, he becomes exiled from his small American hometown.  After a hard night of drinking, Ig awakes on the anniversary of Merrin’s death to find horns growing from his head.
He discovers they have the ability to drive people to confess their sins and give in to selfish impulses. Ig decides to use this tool to discover the circumstances of his girlfriend’s death and to seek revenge by finding the true murderer.
In the clip Ig begs a priest for help who tells him he has fallen from grace and offers to help Ig hang himself – very helpful!
With Alexandre Aja in the director’s chair and David Morse, Max Minghella, Kathleen Quinlan, Heather Graham and James Remar among those filling out the cast, Horns arrives in the UK on October 29th and in the US on Halloween.
