We only have a matter of weeks until the gas-guzzling action film FAST & FURIOUS 7 hits cinemas and to keep us entertained until then, Universal Pictures have released a brand new clip from the movie.

The film is the latest blockbuster to be released from the franchise, which once again reunites Vin Diesel, the late Paul WalkerDwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Elsa Pataky and Lucas Black – and after watching the latest clip, we would definitely not like to be in a plane with these guys!

Aside from the regular faces, there have been new additions to the assemble. British actor Jason Statham is set to be the new villian, after his appearance at the end of Fast & Furious 6 and Djimon Hounsou, Tony Jaa, Ronda Rousey and Kurt Russell.

In the latest instalment, we see Vin Diesel’s Dominic Toretto and the rest of the gang dealing with the aftermath of their association with bad guy Owen Shaw (Luke Evans) in the last film. Dom and his posse decide to avenge to the death of Han, a former member of his gang. Complications arise when Han’s murderer, Ian Shaw (Statham), ensnares Toretto in his brother’s underground car racing syndicate.

This film is directed by James Wan and he is stepping in the shoes of Justin Lin, who directed the previous four films of the series.

The exciting clip brings all the same action, quality and roaring engines that have had fans gripped in the last six films and the new movie looks set to bring much of the same.

The film will feature the final on-screen appearance of Paul Walker, who tragically died in a car crash in Los Angeles in November last year. His tragic death occurred half way through filming and as a result, the script has been reworked by writer Chris Morgan to provide a suitable send-off for Walker’s character, Brian O’Conner. For the incomplete scenes, CGI effects and stand-ins – Walker’s real life brothers –  were used to complete the actor’s scenes.
