With FAST & FURIOUS 7 yet to be released, Universal are pretty confident about it’s success, as they’re adamant on making at least three more movies.
According to chairwoman Donna Langley, the series still has room to grow and can definitely keep it’s audience interested. On this, Langley commented; “We think there’s at least three more. Paul [Walker] is, and always will be, an integral part of the story. But there are many other great characters, and it’s also an opportunity to introduce new characters.”
On the subject of box office success, Langley mentioned; “I think it’s still a growing franchise. We’ll see what happens with Furious 7 obviously, but our box office has grown over the past three or four films and internationally, in particular.”
Despite Hollywood cinema being well known for it’s frenzy of sequel inspired narratives, three more Fast & Furious movies would make that 10 in total, we can already imagine the box sets.
Fast & Furious 7 is set to hit theatres April 3rd 2015.
