Fans of Tom Hiddleston who are suffering withdrawal symptoms from not seeing the British actor much during the award season or on the big screen due to his theatre commitments in London, may now breathe a small sigh of relief after Soda Pictures released a UK teaser trailer for his upcoming movie ONLY LOVERS LEFT ALIVE. Â
Renowned indie filmmaker, Jim Jarmusch (BROKEN FLOWERS, GHOST DOG: THE WAY OF THE SAMURAI, DEAD MAN) has directed the vampire movie featuring Tom Hiddleston who plays the lead role of Adam, a creature of the night who has been affected by the shortcomings of human activity. Â
Alongside Hiddleston is fellow Brit, Tilda Swinton, as Eve, the long-term lover of the troubled vampire who accidentally brings unforeseen chaos to their lives thanks to her younger, wild sister Ava (Mia Wasikowska). Â
Alongside this stellar cast are John Hurt, Anton Yelchin and Jeffrey Wright. The movie opens in the UK on February 21st, whilst fans in the US will have to wait a little longer, as ONLY LOVERS LEFT ALIVE is released on April 11th.
If that is not enough to keep the Hiddlestoners happy, London theatre, Donmar Warehouse, have announced that Coriolanus (the Shakespearian play, which Hiddleston is currently starring in with rave reviews)Â has been extended to the 13th February, with 6 extra performances. Â
