Walt Disney Pictures have unveiled the first footage from upcoming film, TOMORROWLAND.

The sci-fi/fantasy adventure clip gives us an exclusive preview of what’s-to-come from Brad Bird’s elusive new film.

The story is unveiled through a Florida girl, Casey Newton (Britt Robertson) who dreams of the future while watching the launchpads of Cape Canaveral being disassembled.  Whilst going exploring one day she finds herself taken to a police lock up, where upon her release, she picks up a money clip, $47.32, a driver’s license, a baseball cap – and a mysterious pin that is not part of her possessions. Upon touching the object, she is transported to the titular world, to a ‘miraculous place,’ a world that looks futuristically enticing.  Her discovery leads her to Frank Walker (George Clooney), a failed inventor who knows more about Tomorrowland than he lets on.

With the film getting its latest launch at New York Comic-Con, which takes place from October 9th to October 12th, the release of the trailer is timed well.

Although the filmmakers Brad Bird, Damon Lindelof and Jeff Jensen have revealed how Casey discovers the mysterious place, the trailer will leave you thirst for wanting to know more.

Judy Freer, Kathryn Hahn, Hugh Laurie and Pierce Gagnon also star in the film.

TOMORROWLAND hits UK cinemas on May 22nd next year.
