Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation

Fans of the fantastic MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE series, there is some good news for you – production is underway on the sixth instalment from the franchise!

How do we know this? Well, the director of the movie, Christopher McQuarrie has made the announcement on Twitter to confirm that the cameras are now rolling on the upcoming MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 6.

We can practically imagine Tom Cruise rolling around, jumping off big buildings (or climbing up them!) and zooming around on his motorbike once more. McQuarrie is back in the driving seat for this one, having penned the script and calling the shots on it too, as he did for the super MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – ROGUE NATION.

Of course, Tom Cruise will star as Ethan Hunt along with Rebecca Ferguson, Simon Pegg, and Jeremy Renner joining him once more. They will be sharing the big screen with two new additions: THE CROWN and EVEREST star Vanessa Kirby and the Man of Steel, Henry Cavill.

Cruise is certainly dedicated as always to his role, having recently revealed that he prepared for more than a year on one single sequence in the film, which is all very hush-hush at the moment, although we can’t wait to see it!

The 54-year-old, known for performing all of his own stunts, was seen behind the wheel of an old-fashioned BMW this weekend as he tore round Bercy filming alongside Sean Harris.

As production continues, we can’t wait to find out more about the film and may be in store. Are you looking forward to watching MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 6?  Will you be heading to the cinema to watch it? Let us know what you think in the comment box below!

MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 6 is slated for release July 27th, 2018.
