 TodayTix will be launching the first ever paperless ticketing service for London’s West End via their mobile ticketing app. Partnering with the Adelphi Theatre, and Really Useful Theatres venue (Founded by Andrew Lloyd Webber), the technology will be available to users from August 2015.
Over the next 12 to 24 months, TodayTix aim to roll the technology out across other venues in the West End.Â

Upon purchasing a ticket through the easy-to-use TodayTix mobile ticketing app, the customer will receive a unique barcode image on their smart phone. The theatre will then scan that barcode straight from the mobile device. No need to print or collect a paper ticket.Â

In celebration of this launch, TodayTix will be partnering with the UK première of Kinky Boots, Broadway’s huge-hearted, high-heeled hit – starting previews at London’s Adelphi Theatre from 21 August. Inspired by true events, Kinky Boots takes you from a gentlemen’s shoe factory in Northampton to the glamorous catwalks of Milan. The show stars Killian Donnelly and Matt Henry and has a book by Broadway legend and four-time Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein (La Cage Aux Folles), with songs by Grammy and Tony winning pop icon Cyndi Lauper.
