It is the moment that many have been waiting for: the first trailer for MY BIG FAT GREEK WEDDING 2 has finally arrived!

The long-awaited follow-up to the highest-grossing romantic comedy of all time will be hitting our screens next March and already we are being treated to a sneak peek via the trailer above. 

In a trailer released on Wednesday, it was revealed that Toula (Nia Vardalos) and Ian (John Corbett)  are now parents with a teenage daughter, and planning for another set of nuptials. “A long time ago, I had a big, fat Greek wedding,” Vardalos says at the beginning of this trailer. Yes it was — 2002, to be exact.

Now little Paris (Elena Kampourisis all grown up and applying to faraway colleges to escape her smothering family. But ironically it is for the parents of the bride Gus (Michael Constantine) and Maria (Lainie Kazan) – who discover their 1946 wedding certificate never got signed and they are not legally married.

Toula and Ian are also seen trying to find alone time for themselves with hilarious results.

New cast members include John Stamos and Nat WollfKirk Jones is in the director’s chair for this one, which Vardalos wrote, Rita Wilson and Playtone partners Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman are back to produce.

MY BIG FAT GREEK WEDDING 2 arrives in cinemas March 25th, 2016.
