Well the wait is finally over! We can finally feast our festive eyes on a not-so-festive trailer for ALIEN: COVENANT. There has been so much excitement and suspense hanging around this movie and we are delighted to watch some of the hair-raising footage at last.
Back in the director’s chair to call the shots once more is Ridley Scott with the new chapter from his groundbreaking ALIEN franchise. His latest offering is the sequel to 2012’s ALIEN prequel PROMETHEUS. Scott is bringing to life a screenplay by Jack Paglen (Transcendence) and Michael Green (Green Lantern).
In the latest movie, we see the crew of the colony ship Covenant, bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy. Upon their arrival, they soon realise that the place is not a newly discovered paradise, but a dark, dangerous world. When they uncover a threat beyond their imagination, they must attempt a harrowing escape.
ALIEN: COVENANT stars Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup, Danny McBride, Demián Bichir, Carmen Ejogo, Amy Seimetz, Jussie Smollett, Callie Hernandez, Nathaniel Dean, Alexander England, and Benjamin Rigby.
We still have a little while left to wait until the film hits the big screen. ALIEN: COVENANT is scheduled for release May 19th, 2017.
