As it is now a socially acceptable time to talk about Christmas, I’d like to bring your attention to Seth Rogan’s new film and after THE INTERVIEW I can confirm that there are no attempted assassinations of any North Koran leaders in this film.

Instead we have a Jewish Christmas jumper, drugs, alcohol and erm… Miley Cyrus (perfect ingredients for a Christmas film).

THE NIGHT BEFORE is directed by Jonathan Levine (50/50, WARM BODIES) and produced by Seth Rogan and Evan Goldberg, otherwise known as the guys that nearly brought us THE INTERVIEW. Rogan’s latest film THE NIGHT BEFORE is about Ethan (Joseph Gordan-Levit) who 14 years prior, lost both his parents. Ever since then, his childhood friends Issac (Seth Rogan) and Chris (Anthony Mackie) have spent their Christmases together.

The Night Before

However this year, is a year of change, the childhood friends are growing up and this Christmas marks their last Christmas together. Issac is becoming a father and Chris is too famous, their lives are about to change. As a farewell to their Christmas tradition, the friends all go out one last time on Christmas Eve to find the holy grail of Christmas parties, the Nutcracker Ball and fulfill as many Christmas traditions as possible.

The film also stars, Lizzy Caplan, Jillian Bell, Helen York and Aaron Hill.

THE NIGHT BEFORE is released in cinemas across the UK in December 4th, 2015.
