Sony Pictures and MGM have released a brand new trailer for the upcoming remake of THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN, which you can take a look at above.

THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN sees Denzel Washington reunited with director Antoine Fuqua for the third time after already working together on TRAINING DAY and THE EQUALIZER.

The film looks fun, entertaining and set to reignite an old classic – and it boasts a rather impressive cast to boost with Chris Pratt, Ethan Hawke, Vincent D’Onofrio, Byung-Hun Lee and Peter Sarsgaard all on board the flick with Washington.

The Magnificent Seven
Director Antoine Fuqua brings his modern vision to a classic story in Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures’ and Columbia Pictures’ THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN. With the sleepy town of Rose Creek under the deadly control of industrialist Bartholomew Bogue (Peter Sarsgaard), the desperate towns people employ protection from seven outlaws, bounty hunters, gamblers and hired guns – Sam Chisolm (Denzel Washington), Josh Farraday (Chris Pratt), Goodnight Robicheaux (Ethan Hawke), Jack Horne (Vincent D’Onofrio), Billy Rocks (Byung-Hun Lee), Vasquez (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo), and Red Harvest (Martin Sensmeier).  As they prepare the town for the violent showdown that they know is coming, these seven mercenaries find themselves fighting for more than money.

With a screenplay by “True Detective” scribe Nic Pizzolatto and The Equalizer‘s Richard Wenk, THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN also stars Haley Bennett, Matt Bomer, Billy Slaughter and Vinnie Jones in a remake of the 1960 film directed by John Sturges that itself was inspired by Akira Kurosawa’s 1954 classic Seven Samurai. Sturges’ version starred Yul Brynner, Steve McQueen, Charles Bronson, James Coburn and Robert Vaughn as a group of disparate gunmen who come together to protect a Mexican village from bandits led by Eli Wallach.
