The wait is over! Walt Disney Pictures and Lucasfilm have revealed the first teaser trailer for the highly-anticipated sequel STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI. It is a must-see for all of you hard core fans and we have a feeling you wont be disappointed. Cast your eyes on the footage in the video player above!
STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI is of course the eighth film in the epic franchise and all these years later since it first began, there is certainly no stopping its popularity.Â
Rian Johnson (Brick, Looper) is on double duty for this one, having penned the script and called the shots on STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI. The latest instalment continues the storylines introduced in STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS, which sees the return of Mark Hamill, the late Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Lupita Nyong’o, Oscar Isaac, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, and Andy Serkis.
There are also new additions to the cast in the form of Academy Award winner Benicio Del Toro, Academy Award nominee Laura Dern, and newcomer Kelly Marie Tran.
The sequel is produced by Kathleen Kennedy and Ram Bergman and executive produced by J.J. Abrams, Jason McGatlin, and Tom Karnowski.Â
STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI is scheduled for release on December 15, 2017.
