It’s the moment that Star Wars fans have been waiting for, Lucasfilm have finally announced the official title for the seventh installment in the famous saga; Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

The statement came after they wrapped up the principle photography and with it being ten years since the last Star Wars film graced theatre screens, the new titles promises a powerful return.

Although initial reactions to this news have been positive, hard-core fans are still a little apprehensive about how this new movie will turn out, especially after the hit and miss prequel series, Episode I: The Phantom Menace, Episode II: Attack of the Clones and Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.  

With J.J. Abrams in the driving seat for the new installment and due in cinemas December 18th 2015, The Force Awakens stars all of the original cast, including Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill. As well as new cast including Gwendoline Christie, Domhnall Gleeson, Andy Serkis, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o and Adam Driver.
