STUDIOCANAL has released the brand new stunning UK trailer for SILENCE, directed by Academy Award winner Martin Scorsese. It definitely is a must-see, so check it out in the video player above. 

This religious epic boasts an all-star cast that includes Liam Neeson, Adam Driver and Andrew Garfield.

SILENCE is Martin Scorsese’s adaptation of the 1966’s novel by Shūsaku Endō about two Portuguese Jesuit priests (Andrew Garfield and Adam Driver) who face persecution on a trip to find their mentor (Liam Neeson).

Scorsese, who worked closely with Fabrica de Cine’s Gaston Pavlovich on the making of the film, wrote the screenplay with Jay Cocks (Gangs of New York), based on the book Silence by Shusaku Endo. The film is produced by Scorsese and Emma Tillinger Koskoff (The Wolf of Wall Street), along with Randall Emmett (Lone Survivor), Barbara Defina (Goodfellas), Vittorio Cecchi Gori (Il Postino), Irwin Winkler (Creed). 

According to previous reports, SILENCE will be Scorsese’s longest film to date, totaling 195 minutes, or three hours 15 minutes.
