On Monday evening, a very wet and windy London Leicester Square played host to yet another film premiere – this time it was for the thriller SICARIO.
Despite the horrific, damp conditions the stars of the film hit the red carpet including Emily Blunt, Benicio Del Toro, director Denis Villeneuve and producer Edward McDonnell.Â
Under their umbrellas, the group posed for photographs for the fans and media alike, all the while taking the time to discuss their fantastic film with the waiting journalists sharing their thoughts and experiences on set of SICARIO. Â

The movie has been penned by Taylor Sheridan and follows FBI agent Kate played by Emily Blunt and her conflicting journey that descends into the intrigue, and mayhem of the borderland drug wars. In the lawless border area stretching between the U.S. and Mexico, Kate is enlisted by an elite government task force official (Josh Brolin) to aid in the escalating war against drugs. Suddenly, she is exposed to the brutal world of international drug trafficking by members of a government task force who have enlisted her in their plan to take out a Mexican cartel boss.
SICARIO will blow up the big screen (and your nerves!) on October 8th, 2015.Â
