Richard Armitage’s Thorin Oakenshield Poster for ‘The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies’ Finally Lands

The wait is over for the fans of the Armitage – Thorin Oakenshield’s poster has been released.

It’s here. It’s finally here. It is the poster The Hobbit fans have been waiting for: Richard Armitage‘s Thorin Oakenshield.  The King Under the Mountain has his poster and it’s glorious – worthy of royalty and definitely worth the wait.

All week fans of The Hobbit have been voting on the film’s Facebook page to see which character poster they would like to see next and today it seems their wish has been granted.  

Posters of Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman), Gandalf (Ian McKellen), Galadriel (Cate Blanchett), Legolas (Orlando Bloom) and Bard the Bowman (Luke Evans) have all been released online and today it was the turn of the handsome dwarf to have his moment to shine.  

Over the last two years we have watched Thorin battle his way back to Erebor and the Lonely Mountain in order to reclaim his homeland from Smaug, the deadly, gold-loving dragon who has now set his sights on Laketown.  In the third and final installment of The Hobbit trilogy, Thorin will battle for his place on the throne and try to avoid the dragon sickness, which looks set to slowly creep up on him…
