Marvel’s A.K.A JESSICA JONES reels in another star as Rachael Taylor steps in to play Hellcat…
Netflix‘s up and coming series A.K.A JESSICA JONES is boasting quite the cast with David Tennant, Krysten Ritter and Mike Colter all set to star and now it seems THE LOFT actress Rachael Taylor is also in the mix.
Taylor will take on the role of another Marvel character and future member of The Defenders, Patricia Walker, also known as Hellcat, the best friend to Ritter’s Jessica Jones.
As a character in the comics, Hellcat initially joined The Avengers after befriending Hank McCoy (aka Beast) then eventually made her way to The Defenders, using a power enhancing suit to kick some serious ass.
While there’s no confirmation that Patricia Walker will indeed show her Hellcat alter-ego on screen, here’s the bio for the character;
“Patricia ‘Trish’ Walker, a syndicated radio talk show host, former model and child TV star known to her adoring fans as “Patsy” Walker. As Jessica Jones’ (Krysten Ritter) closest friend, Trish helps her embark on the most dangerous case of Jessica’s career.”
This new Netflix series is shaping up to be pretty impressive and with links to a possible Defenders miniseries and Taylor’s character being linked to Doctor Strange, there could be some interesting multi-universe links coming our way!
