The first promo for the Spieirg Brothers’ time-travelling sci-fi PREDESTINATION was released back in July and now here’s the second trailer.
PREDESTINATION is a 2014 Australian science fiction thriller film, directed and written by Michael and Peter Spierig. The promo shows Ethan Hawke’s character travelling backwards and forwards in time, as well as being offered the chance to kill “the man who ruined his life”.
The film, which is based on a short story by Robert Heinlein called All You Zombies, chronicles the life of a Temporal Agent (Hawkes) sent on an intricate series of time-travel journeys designed to ensure the continuation of his law enforcement career for all eternity. Now, on his final assignment, the Agent must pursue the one criminal that has eluded him throughout time.
Sarah Snook also stars as a bar customer who gets involved with Hawke’s character and his scheme to bring the bomber to justice.
Predestination sees Hawke (who never seems to age!) once again teaming up with the Spierig Brothers, who previously directed DAYBREAKERS.
The movie has been out on the festival circuit for some months already, and gets its official release on December 5th.
