We now have less than a month left until we get to see Paul Rudd’s debut as ANT-MAN and so far Marvel has done a pretty good job keeping our hero under wraps…
We have enjoyed watching the trailers and we are now more than ready to see a lot more of the film already. However, for now, we are extremely satisfied with this fabulous new poster. We’re loving the ironic slogan ‘heroes don’t get any bigger’ – very clever play on words there!
Longtime ANT-MAN fans will already be familiar more or less, with the plot of the film. ANT-MAN will follow thief Scott Lang as he and Dr. Hank Pym struggle to protect the Ant-Man technology from various threats, including Corey Stoll, who eventually becomes Yellowjacket.
The film also stars Darren Cross as Corey Stoll, Evangeline Lily as Hope Van Dyne, Judy Greer, Michael Pena, Bobby Cannavale and John Slattery and Hayley Atwell in flashback sequences as Howard Stark and Peggy Carter.
Director Edgar Wright penned the original script and was set to direct, but creative differences led to his departure and in the end, it was Peyton Reed who picked up directing duties and Adam McKay put his own stamp on Wright’s original script.
ANT-MAN is set for release July 17th, 2015.
