The film is based on one of the most brilliant physicists in the world and Eddie Redmayne is the actor set to document the life of Stephen Hawking on the big screen.
The trailer for THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING is finally here. The highly anticipated movie starring Eddie Redmayne and Felicity Jones will not be released in cinemas until early 2015, but this film is already causing quite a stir.Â
The actor, who is largely known for his excellent role in LES MISERABLES, will no doubt deservedly steal the limelight once more after taking on one of the most challenging roles in his career in the biopic of renowned physicist, Stephen Hawking.  The film is based on Jane Hawking’s memoir, Travelling to Infinity: My life with Stephen.
As the main protagonist, fans have been given a taste of what to expect in the first official trailer.  It looks set to be emotional as the scientist is diagnosed with a serious neurological condition called ‘motor neuron disease’ and portrays how the talented man had to come to terms with what the doctor revealed – a life expectancy of only two years at the age of 21, whilst studying at Cambridge in the 1960s.
The resemblance between Redmayne and Hawking is scarily uncanny as he plays the part of the celebrated physicist alongside Felicity Jones as Jane Wilde, the arts student he fell in love with whilst studying.  Â
The first official trailer shows their challenges during their relationship after having three children and how Stephen credits his love for Jane and her solid continuity, which helped him escape depression and get through day-by-day the biggest challenge of his life – being left almost entirely paralysed and dependent upon a speech synthesiser to communicate.
The film is currently set to be released on 1st January 2015 and also stars Emily Watson, David Thewlis and Charlie Cox.
