PADDINGTON hits cinemas tomorrow and to celebrate its release, a new adorable clip has been released from the film alongside a featurette.
When we’re feeling down or lonely, perhaps we should take a leaf out of Paddington’s book and just eat an emergency marmalade sandwich. That’s exactly what our favourite furry friend does after finding himself  searching for a new home and the explorer who visited his family in Peru years before.
Taking pity on the young bear, one of the Queen’s guards allows Paddington to enjoy a few moments of respite from the weather…
The producer David Heyman, writer/director Paul King and the cast including Hugh Bonneville, Jim Broadbent, Sally Hawkins, Julie Walters and Nicole Kidman discuss making the movie and working with each other in PADDINGTON – showing their mutual respect for each other and their work. The film is an origin story of Paddington, a bear who has grown up deep in the Peruvian jungle with his Aunt Lucy who, inspired by a chance encounter with an English explorer, has raised her nephew to dream of an exciting life in London. When an earthquake destroys their home, Aunt Lucy decides to smuggle her young nephew on board a boat bound for England, in search of a better life.

Arriving alone at Paddington Station, Paddington soon finds that city life is not all he had imagined – until he meets the kindly Brown family, led by Hugh Bonneville and Sally Hawkins who find him with a label tied around his neck which reads ‘Please look after this bear. Thank you.’ They offer him a temporary home whilst he searches for the explorer who impressed Aunt Lucy all those years before. Whilst he is there, the good-nature bear sees his inquisitive inclinations lead him into trouble more than once.

But when Paddington catches the eye of a sinister, seductive taxidermist, Millicent (Nicole Kidman), who feels Paddington would look best stuffed and on her wall, it isn’t long before his home – and very existence – is under threat …
