WONDER WOMAN FANS, we have some good news – production is officially underway for Warner Bros. Pictures‘ feature film starring Gal Gadot.
The highly-anticipated action adventure is being brought to the big screen by director Patty Jenkins, which sees starring Gal Gadot taking on the role of Diana Prince/Wonder Woman. The character will make her big screen debut this spring in BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE, but the new film will mark her first time headlining a movie of her own.
WONDER WOMAN is based on characters created by William Moulton Marston, appearing in comic books published by DC Entertainment.
Alongside the exciting announcement of the start of filming, fans have also been treated to a new WONDER WOMAN photograph, which you can see above.
Starring alongside Gadot in WONDER WOMAN is Chris Pine as Captain Steve Trevor, Robin Wright, Danny Huston, David Thewlis, Ewen Bremner, Saïd Taghmaoui, Elena Anaya and Lucy Davis.
Principal photography will take place in a variety of locations including in the UK, France and Italy.
WONDER WOMAN is scheduled to arrive in cinemas in 2017.
