Marvel fans may be pleased with this – new images have been released for DOCTOR STRANGE via EW, which shows Benedict Cumberbatch suited and booted as the superhero in the latest photos.
The film, which is currently in production, stars Benedict Cumberbatch playing the titular character, Chiwetel Ejiofor (12 YEARS A SLAVE) as Baron Mordo, Tilda Swinton (ONLY LOVERS LEFT ALIVE) as The Ancient One. Completing the casting ensemble is Rachel McAdams (THE VOW), Michael Stuhlbarg (PAWN SACRIFICE), Scott Adkins (THE BOURNE ULTIMATUM), Amy Landecker (Transparent) and Mads Mikkelsen (HANNIBAL).
The film follows the story of neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a horrific car accident, discovers the hidden world of magic and alternate dimensions.
DOCTOR STRANGE is set to arrive in cinemas November 4th, 2016, with Scott Derrickson in the director’s chair for this one based on Jon Spaihts script.
