With BIRDMAN’s release coming early next year and with lots of hype surrounding the movie, it’s worth taking a minute to see what all the fuss is about in the two new clips that have been released.
Michael Keaton plays Riggan, an actor once famous for playing a Batman-like character who’s since fallen on tough times. His shot of redemption and one last chance of creating something fantastic is a Broadway play charting the triumphs and disasters of a man not entirely dissimilar to Riggan himself.
Previously, we’d seen a clip of Michael Keaton and Zach Galifinakis sharing some witty dialogue and we discovered a bit more about Edward Norton’s character, Mike, who battles against Mr. Big-Ego himself, Riggan.
In the hilarious new ‘Foreign Press’ clip, Riggan has to respond to a question as to whether he has been injecting himself with pig semen, as a “method of facial rejuvenation.” When asked where the journalist read about this, Twitter was the supposed source…
The second clip sees Riggan hoping that a worthy actor will knock on his door and declare that they will be part of the film. Knock, knock…
