With BIRDMAN’s release coming early next year and with lots of hype surrounding the movie, it’s worth taking a minute to see what all the fuss is about in the new clip that has been released.
Michael Keaton plays Riggan, an actor once famous for playing a Batman-like character who’s since fallen on tough times. His shot of redemption and one last chance of creating something fantastic is a Broadway play charting the triumphs and disasters of a man not entirely dissimilar to Riggan himself.
Previously, we’d seen a clip of Michael Keaton and Zach Galifinakis sharing some witty dialogue and we discovered a bit more about Edward Norton’s character, Mike, who battles against Mr. Big-Ego himself, Riggan and now in this clip we get to see a whole lot more of the relationship between Norton and Keaton’s characters.
Whilst rehearsing on stage for their performance, Mike (Norton) has his first introduction to Sam played by Emma Stone and she certainly catches his attention… until he realises she is the daughter of his boss! Take a look at the clip below:
