Lemony Snicket’s A SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS, starring Jim Carrey, came out back in 2004, but after initial commercial success with a franchise in the pipe line, it was axed after a Paramount Corporate shake up.Â
Good news for Snicket fans though, the series written by author Daniel Handler has been picked up by Netflix to become a new series!Â
Jim Carrey played a brilliant Count Olaf in the original film, adding his usual comedic brilliance to the fiend Uncle of orphans Violet, Klaus and Sunny Baudelaire. With no real details on who will be involved in the new Netflix project, here’s so hoping Carrey will be down for a return role?
There’s no further details as of yet but keep an eye out.
